As a CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Matt specializes in creating financial plans tailored to
each individual client's or family's goals and objectives. He's quite comfortable working with clients at
all income levels and phases of the financial planning process, ranging from the early accumulation
phase throughout the retirement distribution phase. Matt's experience includes directly managing
client portfolios, developing complex financial plans, tax planning, recommending optimal social
security claiming strategies and implementing plans for income in retirement.
Matt holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses with LPL Financial, as well as the Texas Group 1 Insurance license and
holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma. As an alumnus of
the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, he has served as both Recruitment Chairman and Vice-President.
On a personal level, Matt lives in The Colony, TX with his daughter and wife, Raelynn & Karol and in
his free time you might find Matt exercising, fishing, and enjoying almost anything outdoors.
